In the year 1530 A.D. the magnificent Inca civilization was at its peak and Emperor Altualpa ruled his nine million subjects from the fabled city of Cuzco. But soon the Spanish Conquistadors would arrive capturing both city and king.
Seemingly, the former ruler of the Incas made the best of the situation.
During his imprisonment King Altualpa is said to have taught the Spanish a favorite Inca pastime. And although the Inca civilization is no more, this pastime lives on in a game known today as Dudo.
An addictive game of bluff and challenge, Dudo players make bids in turn in an attempt guess the highest collective dice roll on the table.
A tribute to early South American art, Dudo has a wonderful ethnic flavor. Fantastic Inca artwork is replicated in the game's design. The game includes 20 dice, four attractive shakers, and a richly illustrated cloth playing surface. A wonderful coffee table game, Dudo comes in an all wood box.
