Please review our Terms and Conditions that apply to the use and purchase of products from this website.  Use of the website constitutes your agreement to be bound by these terms and we reserve the right to update the website at any time.   All products illustrated are subject to normal limitations of electronic presentation. 

All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (£) and are inclusive of 15% VAT where applicable. Essential Board Games makes every effort to ensure that the prices shown on the website are correct, but realise that errors may occur. We reserve the right to refund your payment if a genuine error has been made in respect of the price shown rather than fulfil the order.

Payment must be made online at the time of ordering via PayPal with most major credit/debit cards being accepted.  You do not need a PayPay Account to be able to pay by this method. 

Essential Board Games takes the privacy of its customers personal details very seriously and the information held will only be used in accordance with the Data Proctection Act 1998.  We will collect your name, address, telephone number and email address when you place an order as we require this information to be able to contact you in the event of a query or for delivery purposes.

Payment details are processed direct via PayPal and as such we have no access to any credit card details.  Essential Board Games will take all reasonable care to keep your personal details and order details secure but in the absence of negligence on the part of Essential Board Games we will not be held liable for any loss suffered if a third party obtains unauthorised access to this information.

At the present time we only accept orders for delivery within the UK and Northern Ireland. For European or International deliveries please contact us direct for delivery costs.  Orders showing a maximum of £2.95 shipping are sent first class by Royal Mail.  Orders showing a shipping charge of £5.50 and above will be sent by courier. Please note that ' next day' delivery is not guaranteed and as such the cost does not reflect a 'guaranteed next day service'.  Courier deliveries will need to be signed for and in the event the parcel is returned to Essential Board Games in respect of non-delivery a refund will be made to your credit card for the order amount less an £18.00 courier return fee.  Once an order has been despatched by courier an alternative delivery address cannot be given.  Delivery costs are calculated automatically.

In the event of any part of your order being 'out of stock' we will forward the goods available and hold the outstanding items for 14 days.  If we are unable to deliver the outstanding items by this time and after communication with you, we will refund your credit card with the full amount of this item. Items showing as 'in stock with supplier' may take up to seven days to be received by ourselves and will be dispatched immediately.

If any goods are received damaged or incorrect please contact us immediately to arrange return and refund / replacement as required. Items must be received within 14 days unopened.  We will not be held responsible for goods that do not arrive back to us and would therefore strongly advise that you obtain a Certificate of Postage from the Post Office but please note this does not guarantee receipt. For items reported as not received and which were dispatched by Royal Mail we regret that we will not refund the postage paid.

This does not affect your statutory rights and you are still entitled to a "7 day cooling off" period should you change your mind.  In this instance please notify us immediately and goods can only be returned provided they have not been used and have not been opened.  A full refund will be made upon receipt of goods provided they are received in a resaleable condition. Where this is not the case the refund will be amended accordingly. The return postage cost to be paid by you.  We will not be held responsible for returned goods that are not received and would strongly advise that you obtain a Certificate of Postage although this does not guarantee receipt.
